I'm Back... Did you miss me?

Wow, this vacation concept sure is cool! I was able to spend 4 days with my mom and dad and gma and gpa White. We drove up to Gma and Gpa C's on Wednesday night and then everyone got up when I got up, about 4:00 am! Gma and Gpa C drove us to the airport and I got to ride on the plane for the first time. It was pretty uneventful. When we landed in Denver we rented a car and drove to Vail. I was getting a little hungry so we had to stop along the way for a snack.
We got to the Ritz in time for me to take a little swim before dinner. The water was a little chilly but I didn't mind. I loved floating around with mom and dad and just kick kick kicking! I got to take a bath after that in nice big bathtub. Mom didn't order me a special bath, like they offered, but that's ok. That evening we had dinner on the patio. Mom and dad had burgers. I had milk. For dessert there were s'mores. I stuck with milk.
On Friday Dad got up early and left mom and I sleeping. He was going fly fishing. I wanted to go but they didn't have waders in my size (teeny tiny). Mom and I slept in then we went to visit my Auntie Jenny. Dad came back in time to go with us. We drove over to Breckinridge and had lunch with Aunt Jenny and then listened to her rehearsal. I loved the music and seeing my Auntie Jenny. On the drive back we saw a plane that crash landed on the side of the mountain! It was scary. Friday night I got dressed up in my cow boy outfit and we went to a ranch for dinner. I wanted to ride on the horses but they didn't have one my size (again, teeny tiny). There was good music and a lot of people for me to watch. Mom and dad had steak and Salmon for dinner, I went with milk.
Saturday we were going to ride up the ski lift in Vail and do a little hiking but my vacation was wearing me out so I took a nap instead. When I woke up Dad took me swimming again. Then we went into Vail for lunch and walked around an arts festival. Everyone thought I was the cutest thing as I rode around in my sling. That evening was the wedding. I wasn't officially invited so mom and I stood way in the back. The wedding was outside and mom did her best to keep me quite. I was getting pretty tired so mom took me up to bed. I slept for a little bit while dad was at the party, he brought dinner up for mom and it smelled so good I woke up. Then they took me down to the party for a bit. It was getting pretty late, so grandma White took me back up stairs to bed. When I woke up it was morning and time for us to head home. Getting back was quite a challenge. Dad didn't end up riding on the same plane as us due to something about the luggage. Mom ran me and Gma and Gpa through the Denver airport. I think we were late. We did make the flight though and I was just worn out from my vacation and I slept the rest of the way home.
When we got back I stayed a little with Gma and Gpa C and then mom and I drove back home to Columbus. It was a great vacation. We should do it more often!

Just so you know

I'm going on vacation! Mom and Dad are taking me to a wedding in Colorado. Vale, which I hear is very nice. I am going to fly on an airplane for the first time. Dad is going to go fly fishing, but they couldn't find a pair of tiny waders or a tiny enough pole for me so I'll be hanging out with my mom and hopefully Auntie Jenny. We are also going to go hiking and take a dip in the pool. I'll talk to you all when I get back next week!

A Wedding and the Zoo!

I had a big weekend. Friday mom and dad came home from work and we headed up to Olmsted Falls. A friend of mom's was getting married in the park. We got stuck in traffic on the way up there so we didn't have time to go to grandma and grandpa's before the wedding so I got to go! The wedding was outside in the park. Lisa sure looked pretty. Once the wedding was over mom and dad took me over to grandma and grandpa's house. When I got there guess who was there to babysit me? L and M! Mom fed me really quick while dad got dressed. When mom and dad started to leave I was sad I didn't get to go too and started to cry. But L sat with me on the couch and talked to me and before I knew it I had forgotten all about mom and dad. I love L and M they are so good to me.

On Saturday we got up in the morning and dad dressed me in my safari outfit. It was a good thing because I was going to the zoo! We went and celebrated L's birthday with her other cousins at the zoo. I saw things I'd never seen before. Like an Elephant. Dad said that it looked a lot like my cousin Seth's Elephant. Dad said that I can ride Seth's elephant when we go visit them in South Africa. Seth is pretty lucky to have his own elephant. Here's a picture of me and my cousins riding a turtle! After we celebrated L's birthday at lunch we went back to grandma and grandpa's house and then headed home.

Saturday night the power went out and it was way to hot for me to sleep in my room. Dad hauled down a mattress for him to sleep on and mom slept on the couch. I slept on the floor. It was fun having a sleep over in the living room!

Sunday was a nice relaxing day. We ran some errands in the morning, then I took a four hour nap. It's nice to nap! In the afternoon my friends up the street came and talked to me. They all gave me kisses. I love kisses! Then they ran off up the street. I was bouncing and trying to get mom to get moving. I don't know why we didn't chase after them.

Mom and dad had watermelon after dinner. It sure looked good to me. I kept trying to grab the plate and had to chew on the table instead. Mom just kept teasing me as I watched her eat it over my head. I think I might be ready to start on cereal, but mom and dad are going to check with Dr. Deb first and see what she has to say. Today is my 5 month birthday!

Wrestling, Socializing, having fun

I have had a pretty good week and have met lots of people. On Monday Dad and I spent some time wrestling after dinner. This is where I was putting the head crusher to dad.
I was going pretty well and I really felt like I had the upper hand. Then I don't know what happened but suddenly I no longer had the upper hand. Dad and I ultimately decided to call it a tie so that we both can return to wrestle another time.

On Tuesday I went out with mom to meet some people that she works with. Dad met us there and after I spent a little time with those people I needed a drink myself. I tried to help myself to dad's beer, but he was not in the mood to share!


Tonight I went with mom and dad to a party for Dad's work. Everyone said that I sure was cute and of course they commented on my hair. It wore me out and I had to take a nap on the way home.

We are going up to Grandma's and Grandpa's tomorrow night. I am excited to see them. I am hoping to see Ellie and Emma too. I might get to go to the zoo with them! I've never been to a zoo before and I think it would be fun to go with my cousins.

Today Norma was on vacation so I went and stayed with Miss Sarah, Mr. Matt, Molly and Hudson. I had a lot of fun over there. It is a noisy house! Molly has a dog named Hudson. I sure liked watching Hudson, I think I might need a dog of my own sometime. Mom says not yet and Dad pretty much says "never!" Molly let me play with her activity mat. It is different than mine, it has all sorts of stuff hanging off of it, but doesn't have the musical star. Did I mention Hudson? He's a dog. I liked him.

My Grandma got back from South Africa today too so we spent some time together. Look what my cousin Seth sent me! I'm sure that he knows how much I like to chew on stuff and this is just the perfect thing! How many babies get to chew on a Teddybock??

We went to dinner at Mozarts. While we were eating we saw our friends Erin and Elsa. They went to get ice cream at Denise's. I can't wait until I'm allowed to eat ice cream. Dad let me try his once and it sure was good!

New Toys!

Norma brought me some new toys! She thought I needed something else to do. Here is me and my new kick gym. The first time I played with it, it sort of scared me. I'm not afraid of it anymore!

I think that I am growing. I sure have felt like sleeping a lot when Norma is around. Yesterday I took 4 naps, and last night I slept from midnight until 6 am. It made mom happy.

Mom and I went to the doctor's office today. I weigh 12lbs 15 oz. If I would have just held off on that dirty diaper this morning I know I would have topped the 13 lb mark! Here's me and mom at the doctor's office. We were waiting on our Doctor. Once we saw the doctor she sent her nurse back in and I got shots! Ow.


After dinner tonight we all went for a walk down to my friend Sophia's house. Sophia and I chatted a bit, then she ate and I took a tour with dad. Here is me and Sophia before we left and she went up to bed.

Yesterday Dad and I went to the block watch gathering on our street. Dad got free ice cream and I got to look at a fire truck. I was a little nervous that they were going to turn on the sirens. That scares me a bit. McGruff the crime dog was there too. Unfortunately Dad didn't take the cameras, I wanted a picture of me driving the fire engine!
