First Days.

Yesterday was orientation at school. I had a good time and met my teachers.
Today was the first official day of school with all my classmates. I had a little issue with what to wear this morning. That's why I look a little grumpy.
Momma got me to school on time... here I am outside.
I showed Momma a couple of things I found yesterday then got settled down to a digger puzzle and told her that I'd see her later.
I had a good first day and even made a new friend. I can't remember her name though so I'll have to ask tomorrow.

Mama's Birthday

Saturday was Momma's birthday... there was a car show at the park for it. I was a little disappointed because there was no cake or ice cream. We did sing Happy Birthday though.

There were lots of trucks to climb on and toot the horns.

Finally after sitting on all the trucks and construction equipment it was time for the playground.

Mamma got a new toy for her birthday.

Camping in Hocking Hills

We went camping this past weekend again. Mom took us to see an old friend and we had a blast at her house. I went fishing, flew a kite, played with a snake (ok... it was a balloon that looked like a snake) and rode a horse all in one day. That's one of the fish I caught. It was the biggest one caught all day. It yanked the poll right out of my hands and sent me running in the other direction. That was enough fishing for me for the day.

That's Blackness hiding under the bush. The other cat's name was Tony. I liked giving them treats.

I liked swinging on this hammock in the barn and driving the tractor!
We went hiking to Old Man's cave. I'm a great hiker. We hiked for about 3 hours and I made it the whole way on my sturdy legs. I'm building up the muscles in my right leg. Every step up I lead with the right leg.

I had a great time doing some rock climbing. The Chickadee had fun riding in the back pack and hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa.

The next day Grandma, Grandpa and Chickadee hung around the campsite and Mom and Dad and I went on a couple more short hikes. I was getting pretty tuckered out with all this hiking. But I liked skipping stones.

COSI... They have tractors there!

The Chickadee and I met our cousin there and we had a great time climbing on all the tractors. Even better than that might have been the water fountains.

Malabar Farms

Mom took us camping with Grandma and Grandpa again this week. We had a blast. We went geocaching and found two caches. We have to wait to get the pictures from grandpa to show you that. We had a great time bushwhacking around the woods. Momma found the first box and grandma and the chickadee found the second one.

At the farm we petted the animals. Chickadee was not too into the horses. But I liked them. Mom told me about this horse and how it has feathers on it's legs. I like to call them "those horses with wings on their feet.

My favorite part was riding on this tractor. They had the front wheels up so we could really turn the steering wheel.

I went fishing with Grandpa and he caught himself! We didn't catch anything else though.
We went on a wagon tour of the farm and also toured Louis Bromfields house. It was a great weekend. I can't wait to go again.

I helped Grandpa make breakfast one morning. Pay attention and see who was most likely to get eggshells in the eggs!
